JCrew APRIL 2013

Loves:
-bright blue on soft, white linen (much prettier irl)
-length: mid derriere, not too long
-sleeves: hit mid hand & look slightly oversized for a relaxed look/feel & no tightness in upper arms
-fabric: linen is very soft
-versatile: looks good w/everything so far, but makes me want to put it on over a bikini and run barefoot on the beach. :)
Concerns:
-tried my reg. sz 6 & fits perfect to fitted across back shoulders, & although it could be a little less loose in the body, it's not boxy, & it fits the style. The shoulders are fitted enough I didn't bother trying on the 4, as the 6 pulls across back of shoulders when crossing/lifting arms to take off (had to pull it up some, then lift arms to take off), & I'm afraid I'll get stuck in it.
 
Also, noticed slight pulling/elongating of linen fabric holes at seams around arms, on the back of the top, where top feels 'fitted' (after only three try-ons). Will the fabric develop holes at the seams? If it does, I would contact JCrew since it would be a quality issue, so I'm not worried about keeping it.
 
Overall lovely fit, feel & style = keeper
I may just be in love w/it because the shade of blue is just so pretty. ;)
 
P.S. If you're bustier, cleavage visibility & fit could be an issue.

Does anyone else have this pencil skirt? How do you feel about the seams on each side of the rear? I've never noticed them on other pencil skirts.

Great news! Seville wedges are running tts in my regular size 9 this year, the box doesn't wreak of glue, & the color is not navy, or dark navy, as depicted in web photo. I'm happy to report they match the blue sea biennial hobo. :)
Also, they're hiding the size & "made in china" print in the toe box area now. Sneaky sneaky...

LOVE, love, love the looks on JCrew Factory site today, but why, why, why do they ruin cute summer tops by using polyester? I didn't understand until last May how bad polyester is in the heat. No matter how cute, I cannot buy it.
